Does the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in treated water gets reduced?
NO-Because the Water Conditioner does not remove or add anything to the water hence the TDS test cannot be given. TDS is only removed by reverse osmosis technology hence change of TDS can be measured with TDS meter. (The TDS testing is often done for drinking water by RO mechanics and dealers.)
Can hardness test be given of the treated water like salt-based water softener?
NO-This can only be given in salt-based water softener as it removes the essential minerals like calcium & magnesium ions and replaces it with sodium ions that is salt. Water conditioner does not replace any minerals but only breaks down its molecular bonds in the water hence no such test can be given.
Is there any wastage of water during conditioning treatment process?
NO-There is no wastage of water in the process of water conditioning.
What test can be given to see the changes in treated water?
The only test which can be given is the foaming test where the treated and untreated water are simultaneously tested for foaming ability with the help of specially designed foam test unit.
Is there any maintenance required for water conditioner?
NO, but a small cleaning process is required that is you have to descale the ionizer unit with diluted HCL once in a month which is installed in the overhead tank unit. It's just a 30 mins job every month. Hence there is no AMC contract for the conditioner.
What is the Life of the water conditioner?
The Life of Electro-magnetic and Electro-frequency unit in the water conditioner is more than 10 years but certain parts such as the electrode plates in the bubblers of the Electro-ionizer unit needs to be replaced 6 to 8 years depending upon the hardness of the raw water.
What is the warranty period for the system?
The electronic parts carry 12 months warranty and the rest of the system carries 5 years warranty.
